Fervent Voice # 1

An asset is not an advantage to others. It is the unique thing which is in you. At the day teacher Lynnie announced that the topic for our first blog is my best asset, I was shocked and annoyed at the same time because this is the first time that I am writing with this kind of topic. I pondered for a while and came to a conclusion that my best asset is my voice.
I am neither a singer nor a host of special occasions but I can say that my voice can call someone's attention. It comforts my friends when they are in great pain, makes my parents laugh, and gives praise to God's holy name. I can also use my voice in different ways in reporting so that my classmates would not get bored when I am reporting.
This asset of mine is very useful in the social world. I can learn more academically in talking to my teachers and classmates. I can also get good grades in reporting and become a good future educator because a teacher should clearly talk in front of the class.
Right now, I am continuing to develop my asset especially when I am in school because my teachers give tasks like reporting. My whole being is very eager to learn more so that my asset would not become stagnant and I believe that I can develop this with the aid of my redeemer because with Him nothing is impossible.

God's Will Escapade *#2

This is really it! After so many years of patiently waiting, God granted me a trip to the Queen City of the South. An escapade which is made of prayers. It's the presence of God which filled me when I decided that I will be going to Cebu City.
A day before the trip, I prepared the things that I will use when I will be arriving in Cebu City like clothes, soap, and lotion. I also checked my ticket and washed some clothes and shoes. I slept early after this because I am exhausted.
At noon, I bid goodbye to my parents. I sailed on the ferry from my hometown which is Plaridel, Misamis Occidental. At night, the ferry stopped for awhile in Larena, Siqiujor which is an awesome place known for witchcraft. Then in the midnight, the ferry stopped in Tagbilaran, Bohol for two hours. So, I went down from the ship and bought a special food in Bohol called kalamay. Finally, I arrived early in the morning at Cebu City.
A great place for relaxation. That is what I can describe the Queen City of the South. The fervent Cebuanos are very friendly. I took a nap upon reaching my aunt Lilian's house. Then, we went to SM to buy some foods. After that night, we watched movies like Chronicles of Narnia in the house to have fun.
The next morning, my uncle who is James Claypool called up and said that we will be going to their house so we can mingle. When I reached their house, I was amazed so I said that I will stay there for awhile. The house is air conditioned, the television is huge, and there are guards around the house. I was tempted with the unusual comfort room so I took a shower. After that, we went to a store to buy junk foods and fruits like clover, apple, and orange. At noon, we had a window shopping and my uncle bought shoes for me. The next day, we went to church but before that we sailed on a small ferry.
I stayed in Cebu City for five days. After those memorable moment, I went home with a smile while saying,  thank you Lord for this wonderful experience. I sailed on a ferry back home. Indeed, a totally awesome escapade with the guidance of God!
